What is an Automated Compliance Engine?

Mavent’s automated compliance engines ("ACEs") analyze mortgage loan data for compliance with consumer protection laws and institutionally mandated compliance policies, mitigating the costs associated with proprietary system maintenance, loan repurchases, regulatory exams and fines, and borrower remedies.

• Analyzes mortgage loan data for compliance with critical provisions of more than 330 federal, state and local laws and regulations in under five (5) seconds
• Includes Fannie Mae approved and Freddie Mac approved anti-predatory lending requirements
• Compliance decisioning rules are maintained by in-house mortgage compliance attorneys and audited by nationally-recognized outside counsel
• ACEs are customizable to conform to a client’s license or charter authority, unique interpretations and risk tolerances, additional compliance or credit policies, and business-line workflow requirements
• ACEs of leading investors—including custom interpretations and policies—are available to ensure sellers are originating salable loans
